Canyon Springs Fine Art

Welcome to Canyon Springs Fine Art. We appreciate your interest in our art.

Chet and Phyllis Bittner have been in the Art Business for many years. They are both native Californians. Chet is the artist and Phyllis takes care of the business. Chet paints Impressionism, Seascapes, Landscapes and Still Life. He is also a sculptor, creating many fine collectible works which are cast in bronze using the lost wax method.

Chet and Phyllis were married in 1949 and have three children and five grandchildren. They have worked and traveled, living in beautiful places such as Carmel, California - Santa Fe, New Mexico - Tucson, Arizona. They had their own Art Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Canyon Road and also in Tucson, Arizona. Chet enjoyed painting with many of the local artists in Arizona, New Mexico and California. He has always been fascinated by the Grand Canyon and was able to paint on location while living in Sedona, Arizona.

Chet has been involved with art since 1935, when at the age of five he drew a horse for a blanket his mother was quilting. He has studied and painted with many fine artists over the years such as Earl Daniels, Bennett Bradbury, Ralph Love, Irby Brown, Ray Vanella and many more. He started sculpting after watching his friends, Joe Beeler, Ken Payne and Dan Bates. Chet has many fine bronze sculptures, some of which you will see on eBay. His work has appeared on calendars and in many prominent Art Galleries and is collected by people in the United States and other countries.
